About Erika Hamilton

Erika’s journey has been flourishing on a number of ever expanding stages. Originally hailing from rural, small town Ohio, her first moment in the spotlight came as an ABC affliate in the bigger city of Cincinnati.

After earning her BA in Communications at the University of Cincinnati, she was able to leverage her degree into a job as thelocal Sports Reporter covering the Bengals and Reds professional teams.
A career path she would of enjoyed, if life hadn’t offered other plans.

A competitive gymnast & dancer by training, Erika has never had a problem with that first step. With grace and dignity, Erika moved to Philadelphia where she danced and did community outreach for the Philadelphia 76rs dance team. She found success there, at one point landing on the cover of the local zine as Philly’s no. 1 single. An unceremonious title she left behind when she was invited to join the New York Knicks Dance Team, widely recognized as the pinnacle stage for dancers.

It was under the bright lights of Madison Square Garden that Erika was soon discovered. She was was featured prominently in the first-generation Ipod ads and her solo role opposite Bob Dylan, was noted by Walter Isaacson in Steve Job’s biography as the most important commercial of that era for Apple.

Talent agents swooned. Her charm and sly comedy found her an early role opposite LL Cool J, who in the spot, is too shy and awkward to approach her. On screen, Erika has worked with some of the biggest and most renowned directors including Martha Coolidge, Mark Romanek, Frederick Bond, Tony Kaye, The Pelorian Brothers and Anne Fletcher to name a few.  Clients as wide-ranging as Facebook, Nike, Volvo, Under Armor, Cisco, Old Spice and Jose Cuervo have leveraged her emotive eyes in service of their brand.

Her success landed her in Hollywood, the grandest stage of all where amidst the successes, Erika has opened the door to her next chapter, writing and producing films that better represent her unique worldview. OUT OF TUNE is first film that took Gold at the Internationa

Erika currently lives in Santa Monica Canyon with her two children Charley and Baer and her husband of 11 years.
